Hottest Menswear Trends From Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019

Winter is coming, so now is the best time to figure out what you will be wearing in the last leg of the year. Thankfully Lakmé Fashion Week just wrapped up and is giving us all the latest trends this season.

SUSTAINABLE FASHION:

Designers such as Gaurav Khanijo, Anuj Bhutani and Three by Pallavi Dhyani teamed up with the government’s Khadi and Village Industries Commission and came out with a khadi collection. Fabrics from various collections throughout the week varied from- sustainable synthetics to FreeFlow fabric (made from recycled PET bottles). Do your bit for the planet and opt for ethical brands this season.

FLORAL FASHION:

Bold floral prints don’t have to be restricted to women and LFW made sure of that. From ethnic to athleisure, Payal Singhal and Kanika Goyal showcased their collections of botanical prints for all occasions.

LAYERING:

In the winter months, piling clothes with different textures and fabrics can really make a statement. At LFW’19 this trend really caught on as designers such as Anurag Gupta and Kunal Rawal accentuated the layering effect with different tones and accessories. Pairing up ordinary outfits with bomber and utility jackets really took flight this season.

ACCESSORIES:

Accessories tie together an outfit and this was proved on the runway this season. Neckerchiefs, chains, earrings, bucket hats and fanny packs graced the runway and created some enviable looks.
